Kelley McManus Barker
Kelley opened Star Struck Dance Studio in Denver, NC in 1991. After eight
successful seasons a second location was opened in Lincolnton. Once both studios
had grown to capacity, a new facility was opened on Hwy. 150 (conviently located
between Denver and Lincolnton) and serves as our current home. Kelley began
teaching at age 15 for Crystal Poole-Graham in Lincolnton and choreographed for the
lyrical, jazz and clogging competition teams until opening Star Struck. She was
certified in 1989 by Dance Educators of America, and continues to study at workshops
and master classes. Kelley has choreographed many award winning routines and has
been blessed to work with many amazing young people. Her dancers have gone on to
dance on collegiate and professional teams including the WNBA Sting, the NBA
Charlotte Hornets and Bobcats, and the NFL Carolina Panthers. She is also very
proud of her students who continued to share their love of dance by teaching at
other studios and operating their own studios. This winter, Kelley and her staff,
in cooperation with the Lincoln Arts Council, will present the first Nutcracker in
