Welcome to Star Struck! We are so glad that you are here! We can’t thank you enough for your support as we begin our 21st season. You will be receiving a newsletter from the studio via email each month. Copies of all newsletters will also be available at the studio and on our website at www.starstruckdancer.com.
Teachers Schedules: Teachers schedules for this year are: Monday – Jaime Webb, Jackson Alvarez & Kelley Barker, Tuesday – Kelley Barker, Brooklyn Roberts, Stephanie Troutman, Joelene Jackson & Angie Starns, Wednesday – Joelene Jackson, Brooklyn Roberts, Kelley Barker, Angie Starns & Stephanie Troutman, Thursday – Kelley Barker, Angie Starns, Jaime Webb & Jackson Alvarez and Saturday – Kelley Barker & Angie Starns.
Parent/Teacher Conferences: Our classes are scheduled back to back, so teachers cannot meet with parents during or between classes. Your questions and concerns are important to us, so if you need to speak with your child’s teacher personally, please call the studio and we will set up an appointment for you. You can always email us at starstruckstudio@hotmail.com and we will make sure that the message gets to your teacher. Thank you for being considerate to other students who are waiting for their class to start!
Class Observation: Parents are not allowed to observe weekly classes. We invite all parents to observe classes during the week of November 14th-18th for recital classes and November 28th - Dec. 2nd for competition classes. If you have concerns about your child’s progress before the scheduled observation week, please call the studio and we will be happy to meet with you.
Tuition: Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and is considered late after the 10th. Late fees are added when tuition is not paid by the 10th. Tuition can be dropped in the box in the waiting room. We also accept credit card payments via PayPal. Please make sure to get a receipt if you are paying with cash. The studio is not responsible for any payments given to teachers. Monthly statements will be sent out via email.
Star Struck Stuff: We are now ordering studio t-shirts, sweats, jackets, bags and decals. Order forms and samples are available at the studio. These items make great Christmas gifts for your dancer! We do ask that all of our dancers to have on SSDS apparel to ride in the Lincolnton Christmas Parade. Please place your order by October 15th to insure delivery in time for the parade. Payment is due at the time you place your order.
Snack Bar: There is a snack bar in the studio lobby open to all dancers & their families. The snack bar is sponsored and staffed by our competition parents. You can send money with your dancer or you may open an account to have money available to your dancer. Please see any parent in the snack bar for more information or to open an account.
Apple Festival: Come and watch our dancers shine at this year’s Apple Festival! We will be performing this Saturday, September 17th from 10:45-11:15 inside the Citizens Center and from 1:15-1:45 outside in front of Fifth Third Bank. This is a huge event in downtown Lincolnton with shopping, fun and games for all ages. Don’t forget to visit the Star Struck booth across from Watson Insurance. We’d love to see you there!
Lincolnton Christmas Parade: Mark your calendars! We will once again be participating in the Lincolnton Christmas Parade in downtown Lincolnton on Sunday, November 27th at 4:00. All dancers are invited to ride on the studio float. Participating dancers should wear Star Struck apparel (see attached order form). This is a fun day for all of our dancers! Watch your newsletter for more details. The Christmas parade is a mandatory event for all competition dancers.
Thank you all so much for choosing Star Struck! If you are a returning student, please know how happy we are to have you back with us! It is a wonderful compliment to have dancers return for another year. If you are a new student, we’d like to welcome you to the Star Struck family!
