February Newsletter

Even though the weather has been cold, our thoughts are already on our 27th Annual Spring Recital! We’ve included all of the information you’ll need about the show. If you have any questions, please let us know. Our students are working really hard and we have planned a fantastic show! We hope you are as excited as we are!

Location – All rehearsals and shows will be held at the James W Warren Citizens Center 115 Water Street Lincolnton NC. As stated in the January Newsletter – If the Lincoln County Sherriff’s race has a run-off election, we will have to move the recital to North Lincoln High School.

5:30 Twinkle Star Class Rehearsal
6:30 Rising Star & Shining Star Class Rehearsal

*Please plan to be there at least 1 1/2 hours for dress rehearsal.

Pictures
Recital group & individual pictures will be made at the studio on May 31, June 1 & 2. A specific schedule will be sent out in April. Our studio photographer is Martin Pezzeca. We ask that all dancers come for group pictures. You are not obligated to purchase any pictures.

Costumes
The second costume payment of $20 per costume will be added to your February statement. The final payment will be added to your account in April. All costumes must be paid for before they will be given out.

Make Up Days
All classes missed due to bad weather will be made up before the recital. Each instructor will schedule their own make up classes. Since classes will be made up before the recital, monthly tuition is not affected. If we need to close for bad weather, notifications will be sent via TeamApp, email & posted on Facebook.

Ad Sales
Star Struck puts together an awesome program book for our recital! It is a great keepsake and it also helps to defer the cost of the recital so we can put on the best show in Lincoln County! We appreciate the hard work that you all put into the ad sale. Remember, all students are given a 1/8 page ad as a part of their recital fee. Please see the ad sale form in the CLASS DOCUMENTS section of our TeamApp for detailed information.

Once again we’d like to thank you all for a great year! We enjoy working with you and your children each week. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your year at Star Struck even better. We hope you continue to enjoy classes! See you at the studio!
